Harold Zook

Harold L. Zook, 65, of Delphi, died at 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2003, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo from lung cancer.
  Born in Radnor on Sept. 25, 1938, he was the son of Truman I. and Evelyn Young Harner Zook.  He was a 1956 graduate of Delphi High School.
  He married Peggy Rader in Camden on Sept. 2, 1961, and she survives.
  In 1993, Mr. Zook retired from Detroit Diesel Allison in Indianapolis, where he was a manufacturing engineer.  He was then a custodian for eight years at Delphi Community School Corporation, retiring in 2002.
  He was a member of Delphi Preservation Society and enjoyed yard work, rose gardening and bird watching.
  Also surviving are two daughters, Julie Schrader of Monticello and Kimberly Reed of Delphi; his mother, of Delphi; two sisters, Rosalyn Scott and Mertha Foster, both of Delphi; and two grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by his father.
  Visitation will be Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. in Radnor United Methodist Church, Rev. Richard Recher will officiate, and burial will be at Musselman Cemetery in Camden.  Arrangements were made by Davidson Funeral Home.
  Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hope Lodge of Indianapolis.
