Fred Lamb

  Services for George F. Lamb, 53, of 1639 Tanglewood Drive, Lafayette, were May 1 in Lafayette with Rev. Kaye Bass officiating.  Entombment was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
  He died April 29, 1993, while undergoing open heart surgery in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
  He was born Aug. 29, 1939, in Delphi.  He was raised in Delphi and moved to Lafayette 30 years ago.
  He married Arlene K. Frazee Shives on Nov. 26, 1972, in Lafayette, and she survives.
  He graduated from Delphi High School and had worked at Ross Gear Division of TRW the past 32 years.  His latest position was manufacturing supervisor.
  He was a Navy veteran and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
  Also surviving are a daughter, Annette Lancaster of Lafayette; a son, S. Sgt. Scott Shives at Grissom Air Force Base; his father, George L. Lamb of Lafayette; a sister, Carol Ann McGreevey of Delphi; two brothers, Terry Lamb of Fort Wayne and Danny Lamb of Nevada, Mo.; and three grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his mother.
  Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
