Bill Million

William Reed "Bill" Million, 44, of Westlake Village, Calif., died Wed., Nov. 2, 1983, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
  Born Jan. 28, 1939, in Lafayette, he was the son of Robert R. and LaVaune R. Million.
  A 1957 graduate of Delphi High School, Million attended Ball State University where he was a music major.  He moved to Santa Barbara, California in 1963 where he started his career by teaching organ and piano.  He soon became a familiar entertainer at a Ventura restaurant, appearing there for 14 years.  In 1970 he moved to Westlake Village.  He was well-known throughout southern California for his organ concert appearances and for his record albums.
  Million was an active member and past president of the Los Angeles Professional Organists Club and the American Theatre Organ Society.  He was also associated with the Orange County and Long Beach Organ Club which established a Bill Million Keyboard Scholarship award.  He was also a member of the Delphi First Presbyterian Church.
  He is survived by his mother of Delphi.
  Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Horn-Thompson Funeral Home, Delphi.  Memorial services were held in Westlake Village on Nov. 12.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association or to the Delphi Presbyterian Church.
