Michael Lee Walters, 53, of Camden, passed away unexpectedly Sunday-October 31, 2021, at 7:39pm, at his residence. He was born October 21, 1968 in Lafayette to his mother Mary L. Koekenberg Walters and his late father Clarence Walters Sr. His marriage was to Christine A. Gatchel in Delphi, on September 21, 2018, and she survives. He was a 1988 graduate of Delphi High School. He worked at Indiana Packers Corp., near Delphi, as a shipping Lead for the past 5 years. He enjoyed NASCAR and other auto racing sports. He was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer football fan. He enjoyed his many home improvements he was always doing to his property, and loved being outside working in the yard. His greatest love was for his family. Just being together, sharing a simple meal, or grilling out. He loved being together with them all. Surviving: wife-Christine A. Walters of Camden; son-Kyle Michael Walters of Tampa, FL; son-Kendal Russell Walters of Chatham, Mass.; stepdaughter-Trinity & Christopher Wells of Camden; 2 step grandchildren: Jaxon & Karter Wells of Camden; mother-Mary L. Walters of Delphi; sister-Lisa Ann & Gregory Coghill of Delphi; brother-C. David Walters of Delphi; brother-Scott A. Walters of Flora; nieces & nephews. Services: Visitation will be Saturday from 4pm to 7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date.
