
Troy A. “Boo” Clendenen, 50, of Delphi, passed away Wednesday-February 19, 2025, at 8:10pm, at Franciscan Health E. in Lafayette. Troy was born in South Bend, on February 10, 1975, and his parents are Wayne & Sherry Ping Clendenen, who survive and live near Peru. Troy graduated from Delphi High School in 1994. He worked at the former Can-Am Steel Co. in Lafayette, and at Wabash National in Lafayette as a welder and machinist for 10 years. Troy loved music and going to concerts. He enjoyed Notre Dame football, golfing, and fishing. He loved family trips to Turkey Run State Park. He loved being outside and walking the many trails they have there. Troy loved to spend time with his many friends. Not ever knowing a stranger, always with that big grin on his face, ready to share a story or just ask how you were doing. His greatest love was for his family. He loved them all so much and enjoyed spending time with them for any occasion. Surviving: Parents-Wayne & Sherry Clendenen of Peru, his significant other-Brandi N. Johnson of Delphi, daughter-Brianna R. Clendenen of Lafayette, son-Kobe A. Clendenen of Delphi, brother-Martin E. “Butch” Clendenen of Lafayette. 4 grandchildren survive. Services: The family will receive friends on Monday from 4pm to 7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date to be announced.
