Larry Hunt - Class Of 1957

  Lawrence D. "Larry" Hunt, 63, of Delphi, died Jan. 31, 2002, at his residence.  He had been in ill health for several months.
  Born Oct. 31, 1938, in Carroll County, he was the son of Carl Luther and Vivian Hicks Hunt.  He attended Delphi High School.
  His marriage was to Wanda Samuels on June 5, 1960, in Delphi, and she survives.
  He worked for A-Z Sheet Metal in Lafayette for 27 years, doing construction work in Lafayette, Frankfort and Purdue University.
  Mr. Hunt attended Delphi Wesleyan Church and was a member of Local 20 Sheet Metal Workers Union.
  He was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
  Also surviving are his mother, a daughter, Mary Jo Emmitt, and a son, Larry "Skeeter" Hunt, all of Delphi; and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father, one son, two brothers, and one sister.
  Services were Saturday at Abbott Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Breidenbaugh officiating.  Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Delphi.
