Ralph Lyons

Mr. Ralph Lyons, 70, of Lynn, died Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Kindred of Peabody after a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband to Lorraine A. (Boudreau) Lyons, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage.

Ralph was born in Hammond, Ind., son of the late Ralph and Bernice (Armantrout) Lyons. He was a graduate of Delphi High School in Indiana. He was a resident of Lynn for most of his life.

He was an aircraft engine production supervisor at the General Electric Company River Works and GE Everett for over 25 years.

Ralph was a United States Air Force veteran. He served in Greenland, Alaska, Texas and Pease Air Force Base, where he met his wife Lorraine at a dance.

He was a WWII history enthusiast and loved everything to do with airplanes.

In addition to his loving wife, Ralph is survived by his two devoted daughters, Michelle R. Lyons and her husband David Familetto of Tyngsboro and Olivia A. Lyons and her partner Paul Gaudet of Lynn. One sister, Mikhail White of Clarksville, Ind. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He also had a special friendship with his daughter Michelle’s late dog Sami, who brought great comfort to Ralph.

He was the brother of the late Linda All and David Lyons.

Service information; Ralph’s funeral service will be in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St., Lynn, Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
