Kim Cripe (Barton) - Class Of 1980

Kimberly K. Cripe Barton, 50, of Camden, died unexpectedly at 2:45 am Saturday October 22, in the emergency dept at IU Arnett Health Hospital, Lafayette, IN. She was born Oct 9,1961 in Cass County, IN to Wayne Cripe and Alice (maiden name Bieghler) Cripe Elzbeck. She attended Delphi Community Schools. She was a machinist at Elco Textron in Logansport for 10 years. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Camden. Kim enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an Indianapolis Colts fan. She was devoted to her grandson.

She is survived by her mother Alice Elzbeck of Camden, 2 daughters Kayla Gano (Jason Garling) Camden, Chelsey Riemenschneider (Bryan Jasmantas) Logansport, IN. Three sisters Cindy (Kim) Pulley of Bringhurst, Denna (Rick) Baker, Royal Center, IN, and Lewaine Cripe, Lafayette, IN grandson Tyler Gano at home.

Preceded in death by her father, step-father James Elzbeck, son Dustin Barton, and twin granddaughters.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Tuesday October 25th, at Cree Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Vanna officiating, burial in South Union Cemetery, Kokomo, IN.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
