Richard "Dick" Harry Delaney passed away peacefully at home from congestive heart failure on April 18, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the age of 73.

Born on Aug. 1, 1950, in Lafayette, Indiana, Dick's legacy is the love of his family, his foundation of faith, the pleasure of a good book, and the camaraderie of card games.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet (Stingley) Delaney; his devoted children, Karen (Brandon) Thompson and Mark (Andrea) Delaney; his cherished grandchildren, Caitlin, Kristin, and Elizabeth Delaney, as well as Alex and Mallory Thompson; and his dear brother, Patrick Delaney.

He will be remembered for the countless moments of joy he brought to those around him, and his memory will be treasured in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

A funeral mass was held on Monday, April 22, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Inurnment was at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
