Brett Niel Appleton, 22, of 1442 W 750 N, Delphi, died at 1:15 a.m. July 10, 1999, in the emergency room at White County Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 7, 1976, in Lafayette, he was the son of William "Bill" and Brenda Walters Appleton.
A 1995 graduate of Delphi Community High School. He attended Purdue University and Ivy Tech State College.
He was employed at Globe Valve in Delphi.
He was a member of Camden Baptist Church. He enjoyed and played all sports and coached Pony League. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his parents, of Delphi; a sister, Stacey Appleton of Bloomington; and grandmother, Barbara Walters of Delphi and Hanna Appleton of Camden.
Services were today at Abbott Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Herriman officiating. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Rockfield.

Brett was my nephew and loved by so many. His life was taken from us but, he still lives. From his passing my neice met her husband which was one of Brett's best friends. Her sister grew closer to another one of his friends and they too are marrid. My grandson is caring is name now as well.So you see Brett is still with us in so many ways.
I love you and miss you.
