Huntington - Shirley Jean Furthmiller, 45, of 758 Elm St., Huntington, died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday in Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital.

She was born December 15, 1943, in East Chicago to Harold and Delores Helmuth Ringer.

She was employed as an assembler by Allied-Automotive (Bendix).  She was a former beautician.

She attended Huntington Baptist Church.

Surviving are her father and stepmother, Harold and Eileen Ringer, Delphi; two sons, Matt and Jay, both of Huntington; a sister Mary D. Saylor, Logansport; and a brother, Edward A. Ringer, Greenflield.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Myers Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating.  Burial and graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. in Camden Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Huntington Baptist Church or the Huntington County Cancer Society.
