Joaquin Guerrero

 Joaquin J. Guerrero, 17, of Rt. 2, Delphi, died at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 19, 1996, from injuries sustained in a one-car accident on SR 25, north of Americus.
  Born July 12, 1978, in Holland, Mich., he was the son of Javier and Maria Crispin Guerrero.  He and his family moved from Holland to the Delphi community a year ago.
  A senior at Delphi Community High School, he was on the high school track team last spring.  While living in Holland, he attended Ottawa High School where he was on the track and soccer teams and played in the high school band.  He enjoyed music.
  For the past month, he worked part-time at the Meijer store in Lafayette.
  He was a member of St. Francis de Salles Catholic Church in Holland.
  Surviving are his parents, a sister, Anita Guerrero, at home; his paternal grandmother, Diana Gonzales, of Rt. 2, Delphi; and maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Gustavo and Juanita Crispin of Lodi, Calif.
  Funeral mass will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Peter Vanderkolk officiating.  Calling will be Friday from 3-8 p.m. at Horn Funeral Home. Burial will be in IOOF Memorial Gardens, Delphi.
