Bill Orr - Class Of 1958

William H. "Bill" Orr, 63, of Delphi, died at 12:53 p.m. on July 6, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
  Born in Carroll County on April 18, 1940, he was the son of Lee and Bernice Allen Orr and was a 1958 graduate of Delphi High School.
  On July 11, 1958, he married Carolyn M. Randolph in Delphi, she survives.
  Mr. Orr was retired after 33 years in the technology services and purification departments at Eli Lilly in Lafayette.
  He served in the 101st Airborne Division, stationed in Korea from 1958 to 1961.
  Mr. Orr was a member of Delphi American Legion and Delphi VFW, and enjoyed NASCAR, especially following #6, Mark Martin.  He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Purdue sports fan, and enjoyed mushroom hunting.
  Surviving with his wife are a son, Sam Orr (DCHS Class of 83) of Carmel and three grandchildren.
  Visitation will be today (Wednesday) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home.  Services will be there on July 10 at 11 a.m. Pastor Nord Zootman will officiate, and burial will be at Masonic Cemetery, Delphi, with military graveside rites by Delphi American Legion.
  Memorials may be made to American Diabetes or American Heart Association.
