Shirley Dilling, 74, of Delphi, passed away on November 5, 2016. Shirley was born on Nov. 30, 1941 to the late Ernest F. and Ethel M. (Kite) Robinson. She was a 1960 graduate of Delphi High School.

Shirley married Ralph Dilling Jr. on Oct. 6, 1963 at the Delphi United Methodist Church. They were married over 53 years.

Mrs. Dilling had worked at P& R Manufacturing in the stain dept., Little’s Cleaners, The Welcome Inn and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Shirley enjoyed going to car shows and on car rides, crocheting, watching wrens, doing crafts and puzzles.

Along with her husband, Ralph, she is survived by her daughters: Ann Marie Stewart (husb: Willie) and Monica Titus (husb: Scott) also of Delphi; sister, Ruth Berry of Flora and brother, Eugene Robinson (wife: Patti) of Lafayette; 5 grandchildren and 2 stepgrandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by her sister, Debra Robinson.

Funeral Services will be at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi, on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.with Pastors Mark Ramey and Bill Fields officiating.

Graveside services will follow in I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg with Pastor Kermit Goins officiating.

Visitation will be at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Memorial Contributions in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
