Nancy Louise Hicks, 40, 3424 Gushwa Drive, Lafayette, died at 8:10 a.m. Monday, March 28, 1983, in St. Elizabeth Hospital.  She had been ill since December 1982.
  Born at Delphi, she lived near Delphi for 20 years and in Lafayette 20 years.  She was a 1960 graduate of Delphi High School.  She was employed as a secretary receptionist at Fauber Construction Co., since August 1976.  Prior to that she was a receptionist at Arnett Clinic.  She was married in 1980 to Tommy M. Hicks.  She attended Hickory Grove Church near Delphi.
  Surviving with the husband are two daughters, by a previous marriage.  Tina Marie Sandefur and Michelle Ann Sandefur; both at home; her parents, James and Maxine White, Rt. 1, Delphi; two brothers, Ronald E. White of Clarks Hill and Robert J. White of Delphi, one sister; Mrs. William (Carolyn) Pearson of Delphi.
  Funeral service was at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, at Hippensteel Funeral Home with interment in Hickory Grove Cemetery.  Friends desiring may contribute in memoriam to the American Cancer Society.
