Charles David Porter

  Final rites for David Porter, 49, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., were Sunday at the Flora United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Paul Bowen officiated.  Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery at Flora.
  He died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1992, in Mechanicsburg.  Born June 9, 1943, in Flora, he was a son of Mark and Charlene Sieber Porter.  His marriage on July 3, 1965, in Flora, was to Pamela Seagraves, who survives.
  A member of Christian Life Assembly Church in Camp Hill, Pa., Porter was manager of the IBM Distribution Center in Mechanicsburg.
  A 1961 graduate of Delphi High School, he earned his masters degree at Ball State University.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict.
  Other survivors are his parents, a daughter, Natalie A. at home, a son, Jeffrey A. at home; two sisters, Marta Gerard of Plymouth, and Marilyn Scott of Indianapolis; and two brothers, Tom of Lafayette and Joe of Indianapolis.
  Arrangements were made by Baker Funeral Home of Flora.
  Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Life Assembly Church, 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, Pa.
