Charles Rohrabaugh

Charles L. Rohrabaugh, 65, of Flora, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at 9:25 p.m. at his residence.  He had battled lung cancer for the past few months.
  Born Sept. 26, 1942, in Lafayette, he was the son of Robert and Edna R. Sisson Rohrabaugh.  He was a 1961 graduate of Delphi High School.  He married Charlotte N. Scott in Petersburg, on Feb. 14, 1981, and she survives.
  Mr. Rohrabaugh worked as a truck driver for GIBCO Motor Express in Petersburg for over 15 years.  He also worked at the rock yard near Petersburg for several years.
  He enjoyed flea markets, fishing, and NASCAR, especially driver Richard Petty.
  Surviving with his wife are his mother of Delphi; three sons, Robert A. Rohrabaugh (girlfriend: Heather Bowers) of Petersburg, Freddy Cooper (wife: Malea Cooper) of Indianapolis, and John J. Cooper of Oakland City; three daughters, Mary Ruth Snipes of Oakland City, Kim Fox of Indiana, and Debbie Baker of Winslow; a sister, Linda Simmons (husband: Michael) of San Antonio, Texas; grandsons raised in his home, John W. and Jasper J. Cooper of Flora; and eight other grandchildren.
  His father preceded him in death.
  Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Abbott Funeral Home, Delphi.  The Rev. Ed Selvidge officiated.  Burial was at Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
