Stephen V. Gray, 60, of Delphi, passed away unexpectedly March 17, 2007, at 10 a.m. at his residence.
  He was born March 29, 1946, in Lafayette to Virgil and Beulah Miller Gray.  He was formerly married to Sharon M. Eastland in 1966.  She survives and resides in Lafayette.
  Mr. Gray was a 1964 graduate of Delphi High School and attended Manchester College, where he studied history.  He then transferred to Goshen College and there also studied history.
  He worked on his family's turkey farm for several years and helped with grain farming.  He enjoyed dogs.
  Surviving are two sons, Jeff Gray (wife: Betty) of Delphi and Jason Gray (wife: Ashly) of Lafayette; a daughter, Jill Sinders (husband: Gary) of Brazil; his mother, with whom he shared his home; a brother, Philip Gray (wife: Patricia) of Delphi; a sister, Mona Mollat of Lafayette; and three grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by his father.
  Services were held Tuesday at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi.  Pastor Scott Gamel officiated.  Burial was at Rossville Cemetery.
