Lee Wayne Snipes, age 76, of Indian Trail, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2022 at his Indian Trail residence, surrounded by his beloved family and loved ones. Lee was born on Monday, August 19, 1946  in Cass, IN, to Paul and Amy (Mullin) Snipes. Lee was married to the late Betty Ann Snipes and currently to Shirley Ann Tripp.

Lee was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed fishing, building, gardening, casinos and cooking. He loved to return to his farm in Indiana,

Lee was predeceased by his parents and his brother-in-law Paul Biederwolf. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Shirley Ann Tripp, his sons, Anthony Snipes, Brian Snipes, Paul Snipes and his wife Isora, Danny Snipes, Derrick Tripp, Michael Tripp and his daughter Patricia Tripp-White and her husband Darryl, his sister Nancy Jo Biederwolf, his brothers, Gene Snipes and his wife Marsh Kieth, Carl Snipes and his wife Cindi, and Dale Snipes, 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services for Lee will be private and held at the convenience of his family.
