Madonna L. Christopher, 78, of Lafayette, IN entered into Jesus arms, November 4, 2024, at 7:50 pm at Saint Anthony Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born August 23, 1946, in Lafayette, to the late Lorene (Crider) and Harold Foster.
She was a graduate of Delphi High School in 1965. She also attended Indiana Business College.
She married Harry Charles Christopher on June 1, 1985, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Lafayette. He survives.
Mrs. Christopher had been a medical transcriptionist / coding specialist at Arnett Clinic. She also was a demo lady for many years for NCIM.
She enjoyed bird watching. She loved hummingbirds. She also enjoyed watching Purdue Basketball and the New Orleans Saints. She loved owls, gnomes, penguins, coloring word searches and gardening. She also loved her cat IV Houdini.
Mrs. Christopher was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, 40&8 La Femmes and the Red Hat Society.
Along with her husband, Madonna is survived by her daughter, Rebekah “Beka” Christopher, a sister-in-law, Carol (Tony) Daugherty, nieces and nephews, Josh (Beth) Daugherty, Todd (Christy) Daugherty, Danny Daugherty, Isaac (Erica) Daugherty, and Dominique (Chris) Chase all of Lafayette and Jeremy Biddle of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a great niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute in Madonna’s memory to either the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
The family would like to thank IU Hospice for their care of her. Also, Saint Anthony Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for taking excellent care of her in her final days.
