Katherine Hoshaw Jones b. Sept. 9, 1947, d. Feb. 28, 1967 Mrs. Katherine Hoshaw Jones, 19, of Fort Dix, New Jersey, died unexpectedly at noon Tuesday after being ill one day. She was born in the Delphi area, the daughter of Forrest and Mildred Hoshaw of near Ockley. Her husband, Lt. Alan Jones is stationed at Fort Dix, NJ. Surviving with the husband is a six months old daughter, Alain; her parents and three brothers; John and David of Rt. 4, Delphi, Dennis stationed with the Navy at Seattle, Wash; four sisters, Betty Hale of Muncie, Eileen MacKay of Lafayette, Judy Lutchka of Ockley and Linda Brammell of Frankfort. The body will be returned to Lafayette. Rites are pending. Mrs. Hoshaw and Mrs. Lutchka left for New Jersey upon receiving word of the illness of Mrs. Jones, but she had passed away before their arrival.
