David C. Liebert, 75, of Delphi, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday-February 15, 2023, at 9:27pm, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born August 16, 1947, in Lafayette, to the late Virgil & Ruth Greenup Liebert. His marriage was to Teresa M. "Terry" Pearson, in Monticello, on December 23, 1967, and she survives. He graduated in 1966 from Delphi High School. He worked at the former RCA Plant in Monticello, then for Loy-Quin Roofing in Delphi for many years, before going into business with his brother in 1987, to form Liebert Construction. Specializing in new homes and remodeling, retiring in 2011. Dave enjoyed hunting for Elk and Mule Deer in Colorado. He loved to go for walks in the woods, down by Deer Creek, and fish or mushroom hunt. He enjoyed stopping at antique stores to see what hidden treasures he could find. He loved to travel with his family, going on several vacations to Cancun and Hawaii, and many places in Florida. His greatest love was for his family. He loved to be with them all for any occasion. He dearly loved them all. Surviving: wife-Teresa M. "Terry" Liebert of Delphi, daughter-Ann Liebert of Indianapolis, daughter-Cathy & Jon Pulley of Orange City, FL, son-Jesse Liebert of Delphi, sister-Marge Franklin of Delphi, a grandson Aaron Pulley, a granddaughter Amity Liebert survive. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim, a sister Susie, brother-in-law Johhny, and a nephew John. There will be no services.
