Conny Amstutz, 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at home with her husband by her side. She was born in Logansport, IN, to the late William and Peggy Martin.  She was a graduate of Delphi High School.   Conny had an outstanding career as a sales agent for over 20 years. She then worked from home, managing the family electrical business. She loved to garden and was an expert at home canning and food preservation. Conny was a very organized person, constantly thinking ahead. She always had "a list," a habit she passed on to others. She was very involved with the Leo American Legion, serving as president of the auxiliary and in many other capacities. 

Conny is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jerry Amstutz; children, Roger (Tammy) Schwartz, Katherine (Jason) Schaller, and Christopher (Shanelle) Amstutz; grandchildren, Jordan, Thomas, Ryan, Michael, Alyvia, and Preston; and siblings, Carolyn (Robin) Maxwell Camden Indiana, William Michael Martin (Sonja) Abbeville South Carolina, Richard Martin Burrows Indiana and Christopher Martin (April), Villa Grove Illinois. 

A service will be held at St. Vincent Church (1502 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN) at 11:30 am on Thursday, September 5th, followed by a celebration of life at the American Legion Post (14033 Leo Road, Leo, IN). 

The members of Burrows Presbyterian Church will be hosting a celebration of life for Conny on Saturday September 7 from 11 to 2.  All are welcome to come and share memories.  Luncheon will be provided.  Memorial donations may be given to Leo American Legion.
