  Connie Ruth Eckart, 56, of 464 . Wabash St., Wabash, died at 10 p.m. on Feb. 27, 2005, in her home. Born Sept. 18, 1948, in Booneville, Miss., she was the daughter of Frederick and Virgi Inez Smith Medborn.  She was a 1966 graduate of Delphi High School, and attended Indiana Wesleyan University of Marion for two years.

  Her marriage was to Stephen Estel Eckart on July 27, 1968, in Delphi, and he survives.
  Mrs. Eckart was a member of Calvary Chapel Worship Center in Wabash, where her husband is senior pastor, and she was the office manager.
  She enjoyed her grandchildren and gardening and was a Fenton Glassware collector.
  Surviving with her husband are her father of Greentown; two sons, Rodney Eckart (wife: Tammy) of Greentown, and Matthew Eckart (wife: Nadine) of Lebanon; two daughters, Monica Middleton (husband: Mike) and Angela Little (husband: Robert), all of Greentown; two sisters, Carolyn Gibbs (husband: David) of Greentown, and Dorothy Medborn of Carmel; a brother, James Medborn (wife: Alice) of Germany; 12 grandchildren, Nicole Eckart, Alicia Eckart, Zachary Eckart, Brittney Eckart, Miranda Middleton, Marissa Middleton, Meredith Middleton, Malachi Middleton, Jessica Eckart, Olivia Connie Eckart, Kaitlyn Little and Ashley Little.
  She was preceded in death by her mother; a brother, Eldon Medbourn; and a sister, Helen Sue Henry.
  Services will be held at Calvary Chapel Worship Center in Wabash, on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Don Gifford officiating.  Graveside services will be at Smith Campground Cemetery in Dogwood, on Friday at 1 p.m. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the church.
