Charles Steven Myers, 63, of West Lafayette, formerly of Delphi, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at 8:40 p.m. at Indiana Veteran's Home.
He was born June 6, 1948 in Lafayette to the late Charles William Myers and Marian (Swaim) Myers.
Mr. Myers had been employed with Whirlpool and National Homes. He was a 1966 graduate of Delphi Community High School. He served in the US Air Force from 1969-1973 and served during the Vietnam Era. He served in Biloxi, Mississippi and Anchorage, Alaska and Maine.
He was a member of the Delphi American Legion. Steve enjoyed watching sports, NASCAR, the Cubs, White Sox, and reading.
Survivors include a brother, Frank L. Myers, of Pittsburg, and several cousins.
Service will be Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Oliver officiating. Burial will be I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg.
Visitation will Wednesday 11:00-until the 1:00 p.m. service. Military Graveside Rites by Delphi American Legion, Delphi VFW, Camden American Legion. Memorial Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society . Online Condolences can be made at www.davidsonfh.com
