Katherine “Kate” Lewis, 67

Kate Lewis, 67, of West Point, passed away unexpectedly at 11:33 am on Sunday, January 10, 2016.

She was born October 8, 1948, in Lafayette, to Helen Wagoner Sheets of Delphi and the late Raymond Sheets. After graduating from Delphi High School in 1966 she married Robert L. Lewis and he survives.

Kate had retired from Lafayette School Corp after 20 years and again from SIA both in food service.

Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.

Surviving along with her husband and mother are two daughters, Katherine Marie Aveline (husband Keith) of Linden and Tammy Sue Brindle (husband Blair) of Attica; a son, Ronnie Lewis (wife Yvonne) of Delphi and a sister, Sarah Berry of North Fort Myers, FL.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with Pastor Ed Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Citizens Cemetery in Carroll County.
