Jacqueline Walters (Aldrich)

Jacqueline Walters Aldrich, 37, Delphi, died April 9, 1986, in her home following an illness of five years.  She was one of the founders and past president of the Carroll County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
  She was born October 4, 1948, in Logansport to Jack and Carlee Osborn Walters, of Rt. 2, Delphi.  She was married October 7, 1967 in Delphi, to John T. Aldrich and he survives.  He is the owner of Car Quest Store in Delphi.
  Mrs. Alrich a 1966 graduate of Delphi High School, recently received a Certificate of Achievement from the dean of the Purdue University School of Humanities, Social Science and Education.  She was working toward her bachelor's degree at the time of her death.
  She was a member of the Delphi Christian Church.
  Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Kelti S. Aldrich, a freshman at Purdue; one son, Brock Landon Aldrich, at home, her parents and maternal grandmother, and one sister, LeAnne Aldrich of Delphi.  She was preceded in death by one brother.
  Services were held Saturday at Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, and burial was in Morning Heights Cemetery.  Those desiring may contribute in memoriam to the American Cancer Society.
