Larry Logsdon, 66, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at St. Elizabeth East.

Born December 26, 1948 in Yeoman, IN, he was the son of the late Leo and Georgia (Haire) Logsdon.

His marriage was to Jeanne E. Berninger on October 25, 1984 in Oahu, Hawaii and she survives.

Larry worked in Environmental Control at Eli Lilly for 38 years. He enjoyed golf and antiques.

Surviving with his wife, Jeanne Logsdon, are their children, Chad C. Logsdon of Lafayette, Travis P. Logsdon of Mulberry, Jeremy T. Logsdon of West Lafayette, and Jessica L. Logsdon of Lafayette; one brother, James "Jr." Logsdon (wife: Arlene) of Oakview, CA; and six sisters, Barbara Cox (husband: Eddie Joe) of Terre Haute, Brenda Kay Goyer (husband: Kevin) of Delphi, Marilyn Sue Miller (husband: Melvin) of Colburn, Janice Pettit (husband: Ned) of Bringhurst, Charlotte "Pete" Woolridge of Delphi, and Sharon Pattengale (husband: Dusty) of Colburn. He is also survived by three children, Paige Logsdon, Memphis Logsdon, and Jersey Logsdon.

Preceding him in death with his parents are his brother, Wayne Logsdon; sister, Linda Logsdon-Flanigan; and two grandchildren, Rainey and Skylar Logsdon.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Simplicity Funeral Care, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Brad Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Vale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's honor to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association .
