John Lachenmaier

John Allen Lachenmaier, 43, 2905 High St. died at 10:52 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 1994, St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center at Lafayette. He was born March 18, 1950, in Marysville, Ohio, to Frank Bernard and Frances (Ford) Lachenmaier. May 16, 1980, he married Joanne Pulley Whallon, who survives. He was an engineer for Whallon Machinery of Royal Center and a self employed master woodworker. He was a graduate of Purdue University and a member of the St. Matthews Lutheran church in Delphi. Also surviving are a stepson, Michael Whallon of Royal Center; stepdaughters, Leslie Smith of Logansport, Sarah Layman of Delphi and Susan Moser of Wilmington, Del.; a sister Mrs. Daniel (Linda) Lybrook of Delphi; a brother Frank Lachenmaier of Kokomo; and six step-grandchildren. A sister preceded him in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran Church. Mack Goeglein and Arnold Raabe will officiate. There will be a private internment. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kroeger Funeral Home. Monday, June 13, 1994

Constance Riley (Rodenbarger) (1969)

John was a very smart guy and funny making you laugh. I went to his viewing and was sad about his passing. Rest in peace, John, and we will see you when it is our time.
