Gary Dewayne Wertz, 72 of Kokomo passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his residence from complications of type one diabetics.

He was born on February 6, 1950 to the late Kenneth and Twylia Wertz of Camden. 

Graduated in 1969 from Delphi High School and Lincoln Tech. He worked for Todd Appliances, the State Highway and retired from Delphi Delco with 30 years plus of service. In his retirement years he worked for CFS and Camden area Farmers.

Gary was a former member of the Camden and Flora Fire Departments. A current member of Camden Post #413 SAL and VFW of Kokomo. 

He bowled weekly on three different bowling leagues, enjoyed golfing and playing cards.  He is a member of the Frankton Tractor Club and went to area pulls with his John Deere G and participated in pulls.

His oldest daughter Cherie (Wertz) Bohling is deceased. Husband Tom Bohling. Have grandchildren - Thomas, Chelsea (deceased) Sierra and Hayley.  Second daughter Brianna Griffey has grandchildren Jaidyn, Elianna and Jesse all of Camden.

Viewing: Saturday, July 2 from 10:00 -12:00 p.m. at Cree Funeral Home immediately following viewing will be procession to Musselman Cemetery. Friend Darol Packard with give message and prayer. Family and Friends are invited to Camden Legion Building for a lite meal and fellowship afterwards.
