Athena Sadler

Athena Marie Sadler, 34, passed away Saturday-Oct 27, 2018 at 8:16pm at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born April 7, 1984 in Brooksville, FL, to her mother Jeannie M. Fife, and her father James C. Sadler. She was a 2002 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She had previously worked in Lafayette. She attended Grace United Methodist Church in Lafayette, and was extremely active with, A Better Life-Brianna's Hope, which helps people with addictions. Athena was crafty, enjoyed yard sales, had a big heart, very giving personality, and was a perfectionist, which she always denied. She adored her daughter, and cherish any time they spent together. She loved her so much, and the rest of her family. Surviving: daughter-Addison Marie Sadler of Lafayette;  mom-Jeannie M. Fife of Mulberry; dad-James C. Sadler of Brooksville, FL; sister-Marcia L. Stevens of Lafayette; siblings-Ashlee S. Stevens of Monticello, Bobby L. Stevens of Monticello, & Ryan Stevens of Monon; grandma-Donna Stevens of Delphi; several aunts, uncles, cousins. Services: Friends may call Sunday from 2pm until her funeral service at 4pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Rev Todd Ladd & Pastor Lore Blinn Gibson officiating.
