Miss Mary Ann Bieber, 61, of Rt. 1, West Point, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient since Oct. 9.  She had been in ill health for sometime.
  Born in rural Lafayette, she has spent most of her life in the area.  She graduated from Buck Creek High School and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Indiana University.
  Miss Bieber had been a high school teacher of Latin and English at Buck Creek, Chalmers, Jackson Township and Delphi, retiring several years ago.
  She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
  Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lewis McKay of Rt. 2, and a brother, Fred M. Bieber of Rt. 3, Lafayette.
