My father. Deceased in Aug 1998. Heart disease and ruptured aortic aneurysm. Survived by wife Mary "Kathleen" Hawn (55), Daughters Teresa Miller (75), Frankfort, IN, Marcella "Marcy" Garrard (77), Brownsburg, IN, Angela Hawn (78), Brownsburg, IN, Dennis Hawn (81), Delphi and David Hawn (84), Delphi, IN. Whole family were Delphi graduates. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Richard L. "Dick" Hawn, 63, of Delphi, died unexpectedly at 2 p.m. Aug. 8, 1998, at his residence.
  Born Dec. 9, 1934, in Frankfort, he was the son of John and Mary Louise Mason Hawn.  His marriage was on April 16, 1955, in Delphi, to Kathleen Clifford, who survives.
  A 1953 graduate of Delphi High School.  Hawn served in the U.S. Air Force in France from 1954 to 1958.
  After leaving the service, he worked at Logansport State Hospital.  He then worked 12 years at Globe Valve Corp. in Delphi and then 14 years at Wilson Foods in Logansport, retiring in 1984.
  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Delphi American Legion Post 75.
  Hawn was active in the Delphi Men's Bowling League for several years and coached Little League Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball.
  Also surviving are three daughters, Teresa Miller of Frankfort, Marcy Garrard of Brownsburg, and Angela K. "Angie" Hawn of Newton, Kan.; two sons, Dennis Hawn and David L. Hawn, both of Delphi; one sister, Beverly Hathaway of Pittsburg; one brother, Doyle Hawn of Puyallup, Wash.; and 14 grandchildren.  Three brothers preceded him death.
  Services were Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Peter Vanderkolk officiating.  Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery with American Legion rites.
  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
