Carolyn Coble Rammell , 73 Kokoma, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at her home. She was born Nov. 12, 1933, in Rockfield, the daughter of the late Carl and Sarah (Gardner) Coble. She married William Rammell June 9, 1957, in Rockfield, and he died Dec. 21, 1983.
Carolyn was a 1951 graduate of Delphi high School and graduated from Indiana University,Bloomington in 1955. She earned her masters degree from Ball State.She was an elementry teacher for the bulk of her career. She retired in 1996 after 36 years of teaching.
Carolyn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and playing bridge.
Survivors include two daughters,Karen Plasterer and Susan R. Jeffers. One sister,Marian Coble Heck, a former teacher at Delphi High School.
