Helen Eileen (Clifford) Bernard, 71, died on June 27, 2004, at her home, in Carmichael, Calif., after a battle with cancer.
Born in Delphi on Jan 30, 1933, she was the daughter of James and Helen Clifford. She graduated from Delphi High School in 1951 and Purdue University.
Helen Bernard was a substitute teacher for many years in the Sacramento, Calif. area.
Surviving is her husband,Robert W. Bernard, three sons, Gregory and Jeffrey Bernard both of Carmichael, Calif. and Daniel Bernaed of Sacramento, Calif;, four sisters, Marjorie Clifford of Delphi, Mary Christe of Indianapolis, Dorthy A. Lidester of Lafayette and Joan Clifford of Los Angeles, Calif.: and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dick,Jack and Maurice Clifford. Services was in Carmichael July 2, 2004
