Don Wells - Class Of 1967

Donald Eugene Wells, age 71 of Orange, Texas passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 23, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and remember Don’s legacy at Family Worship Center in Orange, Texas. Arrangements will be handled by Dorman Funeral Home. Don was born in Lafayette, Indiana on October 5, 1948 to Phyllis Burge Wells and Clarence Eugene Wells. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corp and fought in Vietnam. After Vietnam He served his country in the National Guard in Indiana. Don retired after 30 years of service with Chemical Waste Management as a supervisor. Don earned his pilot’s license years ago and enjoyed the peace and thrill of flying. He enjoyed working on vehicles as a hobby. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Wells and Phyllis Burge. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Julie Ann Jackson Wells of Orange, TX., Brothers Rick Wells and his wife Karan, Kim Wells and his wife Julie, Jeff Wells, Toney Gill and his wife Linda, Frank and his wife Marty, Jamie and wife Dawn, Jerry Wells and wife Kimberly. Sisters Micky Veach, Chris Shoemaker, Shelia Best. Sons Paul Wells and Rusty Wells of Orange, Daughter Barbara Manning and her Husband William Manning of Beaumont TX, Son Jayson Wells and his wife Crystal Wells of Orange. Grand kids Sarah Bazan and her husband Louis Bazan Jr., Justin Stone, Emma-Lee wells, Brandon Wells, and Dylan Wells, Rachel Leigh Steward, Ami Wells, and Clark Wells. Great grandson Louis Xavier Bazan III and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to Family Worship Center Church, 2300 41st Street Orange, TX 77630.
