Raymond Baer - Class Of 1930

Services for Raymond J. Baer, 58, of Indianapolis, a native of Delphi, were Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Delphi.  The Rev. Fr. Robert Fosselman officiated, and burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
  Rosary services were recited Thursday night at Lloyd Funeral Home.  He died Tuesday of last week at Indianapolis, where his address was 103 E. 50th St.
  He was a member of the Delphi American Legion, Delphi Council Knights of Columbus and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at Indianapolis.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II.  His parents were John and Lucy Roskuski Baer.
  For the last 14 years he had been serving under the State Board of Health as supervisor for the Health and Hospital Corp. of Marion County.  He was president of the Indianapolis Fire and Buff Association.  He formerly served on the Delphi Fire Department.
  A 1952 graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, he also was a graduate of Indiana University.  He was a former employee of Blackwell Funeral Home, Indianapolis, and Grimm and Son Funeral Home, Delphi.  He was graduated from high school at Delphi.
  Survivors are his wife, the former Louise Hemmig; a son, Robert Michael, and a daughter, Karen Louise, at home.
