Shirley H. Smith, 83, or Rt. 4, Delphi, died at 5:10 p.m. July 25, 1995, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, where she had been a patient for one and a half months.
    Born Jan. 14, 1912, Harrison County, she was the daughter of Frank and Laura Crosier Liebert.  Her marriage was on Nov. 23, 1946, in Delphi, to William S. "Bill" Smith, who survives.
    She was a 1930 graduate of Delphi High School.
    A homemaker, she was a member of the Delphi First Presbyterian Church and Carroll Chapter 375, Order of Eastern Star.
    Also surviving are one son, Stephen M. Smith of Rt. 4, Delphi; a sister, Hazel Liebert of Lafayette; a brother, Frank Liebert of Dallas, Texas; and two grandsons.  She was preceded in death by two brother.
    Services were Friday at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating.  Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
