Alice Vianco (Stevens) - Class Of 1931

Alice Marie Vianco Stevens, 68, of Lafayette, died at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 1981, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.  She had been in ill health one year.
  Born at Jackson, Mich., on Dec. 28, 1912, she was the daughter of William and Margaret Becker Vianco.  She was married in 1940 to Eschol Stevens, who survives.
  She moved to Delphi as a child and was educated there.  She was graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in 1940 and worked as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital for many years.
  She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Catholic Nurses Alumnae Association of St. Elizabeth Hospital.
  Surviving with the husband are a son, Richard Michael Stevens of Lafayette; one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Gail) Geisler of Lafayette; three sisters, Rose Ann Vianco and Mrs. Bert (Mary Lou) DeWitt, both of Monticello, and Dolorita Gaunt of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
  Services will be in Landis-Loy Chapel, Lafayette, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.  Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.  Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Landis-Loy.
