Thelma Richardson (Franklin) - Class Of 1931

 Thelma L. Franklin, 81, formerly of Pittsburg, died at 1:19 p.m. Nov. 13, 1994, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient two days.  She had been in ill health the past two years.
  Born Oct. 31, 1913, in West Lafayette, she was the daughter of Samuel and Zorada Morrison Richardson.  She had lived all her life in Pittsburg until moving to the Brethren Village two years ago.
  Her marriage was on April 4, 1937, in Lafayette, to Harold B. Franklin, who died Dec. 3, 1976.
  She was a 1931 graduate of Delphi High School.
  She and her husband owned and operated the former Sam's Fish House in Pittsburg from 1961 to 1976.
  She was a member of Delphi American Legion Auxiliary and a former member of Delphi United Methodist Church.
  Surviving are one son, John L. Franklin of Rt. 2, Delphi; a daughter, Connie Elliott of Sewell, N.J.; three grandsons; and one great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
  Services were today at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating.  Burial was in IOOF Memorial Gardens, Delphi.
