Anna J. Maxwell, 86, of Delphi, died at 7:45 p.m. June 10, 2000, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center.
  Born Oct. 16, 1913, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of John H. and Lula Barnhart Fisher.  Her marriage was on March 8, 1936, in Flora, to John Maxwell, who died March 15, 1994.
  She was a 1931 graduate of Delphi High School and was a homemaker.
  Mrs. Maxwell was a member of Radnor United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Ockley Ladies Aid Club, and Madison Township Extension Homemakers Club.
  Surviving are two sons, William "Bill" Maxwell of Delphi and Joseph Maxwell of Mt. Shasta, Calif.; a daughter, Bonnie Maxwell of Georgetown; one brother, Glenn Fisher of Delphi; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters and one granddaughter.
  Services were Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Selvidge officiating.  Burial was in Zion Cemetery, rural Delphi.
  Memorials may be made to Radnor United Methodist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
