Delphi Carroll County Comet July 30, 1986 Edward H. Gochenour, 71, of Pendleton, died July 22, 1986, in Rawlins Nursing Home in Pendleton following a lingering illness. He was born in Carroll County to Dr. Walter and Ruby Gochenour. He was married to Virginia Jewett and she survives. Mr. Gochenour was a graduate of Delphi High School and Fort Wayne Business College in 1933. He was a retired Vice President of the Pendleton Banking company, where he had previously been employed 15 years. He was a member and past president of the Pendleton Lions Club, a member of the Madison Masonic Lodge in Pendleton, American Legion Post, Anderson and the Idlewald Country Club. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving with the widow are one sister, two nieces and one nephew. One sister preceded him in death. Services were held on Friday in Pendleton and burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
