Pauline Imler (Collins)

M. Pauline Collins 87, of Frankfort, died at 11:50 p.m. Sept. 5. 2002, at Clinton House Convalescent Center, Frankfort. Born July 8, 1915, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Caughey and Maude Chapman Imler. She was married on Oct. 31,1934, to Floyd Alva Collins, who died Feb. 23, 1998. She and her husband owned Collins Transfer Co. in Frankfort from 1945 to 1980. They resided in Flora until 1957 when they moved to Frankfort. After retiring in 1978, they resided in Ruskin, Fla., until 1996. A 1932 graduate of Delphi High School, Mrs. Collins was a member of the Flora United Methodist Church, the American Legion^ Auxiliary, Extension Homemakers' Club, Zonta, Phi Chi Epsilon and several bridge clubs in the Frankfort area. She was a past president of United Methodist Women in Flora and Frankfort and a past member of the Ladies of the Elks. Surviving are four sons. Robert C. Collins of Las Vegas, Nev., Donald L. Collins of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Harold A. Collins of Bringhurst, and David L. Collins of Michigantown; four sisters, Alice Perkins of Wabash, Blanche Hofherr of Fort Wayne, Grace Bush of Brookston, and Naomi Herren of Sun City, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A daughter, two sisters, one brother and one grandchild preceded her in death. Services were held Tuesday in Frankfort with the Rev. Larry DeVos officiating. Burial was in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
