Freda K. Long Aveline, 66, 418 Central Ave., Lafayette, died Sunday, September 13, 1981, in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient four days. She had been in failing health one month. Born and reared in Delphi, she went to Lafayette 39 years ago. Her marriage in Lafayette in 1941 was to,, Fred L. Aveline. She was graduated from Delphi High School and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church Surviving with the husband are four daughters and two sons, Mary Lynn Crossfield, Evansville; Judith Shelburn, Kokomo and Barbara Thompson, Debbye Neideffer, Robert L. Aveline and Thomas J. Aveline, all of Lafayette; four sisters, Agnes Reed and Anna Bussel, both of Delphi, Betty Boone of Lafayette and Georgia Hill of Washington; one brother, Huck Long of Laughton, Okla. and 19 grandchildren. A son preceded her in death in January. Services were last Wednesday at Lafayette with interment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
