Doretha I. (McCouch) Buck, 100, of Lafayette, passed away at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Rosewalk Village Healthcare. Born October 1, 1913 in Delphi, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Agnes C. (Robinson) McCouch. Doretha was a 1932 graduate of Delphi High School. Her marriage was to Alvin J. Buck on February 2, 1938 in Camden, IN. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2000. She was a homemaker and a dairy farmer with her husband until retirement. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Challenger’s Class, a 50-year member of the Home Ec Club, and a member of the Lafayette Porcelain Artists Club. She enjoyed painting on china. Surviving is a son R. Wayne Buck (wife, Joan) of Lafayette, five grandchildren, Douglas Buck, Jeffery Buck (wife, Penny) and Nichole Buck Perkins (husband, John), Dale Dunnewold (wife, Julie) and Debbie Dunnewold Wilkinson (husband, Kurt), and 6 great-grandchildren, Douglas II, Ethan and Elijah Buck, and Luke (wife, Jen), Ryan and Jenna Dunnewold, Aly and Abby Wilkinson, great-great grandson, Judah, son-in-law, Bernie (Barb) Dunnewold. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alyne K. Dunnewold (husband, Bernie) on January 14, 2001. Tippecanoe Memory Gardens
