Herman S. Neff, 69, Rt. 1, Bringhurst, died Tuesday, October 12, 1982, at 10:21 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
  Born April 23, 1913, in Monroe Township, Carroll County, he was the son of Walter and Ivy Jackson Neff.  He was married in 1939 to Lucille Jenkins, who survives.
  A 1932 graduate of Delphi High School, Neff was a farmer and life resident of Carroll County.  He was a member of the Bringhurst United Methodist Church.
  Surviving with the wife are two sons, Herman Neff, Jr., at Miami, Fla., and Myron Neff of Bringhurst; and one brother, Roger Neff of Tucson, Ariz.
  One daughter preceded him in death.
  Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Baker Funeral Home, Flora.  Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
