HYER, Ruth Mae "Ruthie" age 101, of Dayton, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014. She was a member of North Riverdale Lutheran Church. She retired from Logan Studios after 30 plus years of employment. Ruthie was a long time member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority and volunteered extensively at Victoria Theatre and Children's Medical Center. Preceded in death by husband Jay Hyer. Survived by a daughter Carol Jane (Mike) McCool of GA, 3 grandsons Jon II of TX, James of Eaton and Jack McCool of Tipp City, 7 great grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Leah and Sara Ruth Troutwine, Corbin and Madison McCool, Gracie Luke. 4 great great grandchildren Noah, Hannah, Madison and Sara Ruth Troutwine, special friends Suzi DuMoulin, Betty Martin and Ginger Perkins, numerous family and friends. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at North Riverdale Lutheran Church 45 Kurtz Dr. Dayton, OH by Rev. Monte Stevens. Inurnment Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N.
