Genevieve Wise (Plank)

  A. Genevieve Plank, 81, Rt. 1, Cutler and Apache Junction, Ariz., died at 4 p.m. Friday, March 3, 1995, in Valley Lutheran Hospital, Mesa, Ariz.
  Born Aug. 12, 1913, in Deer Creek Township, she was the daughter of Lewis and Faye A. Buckley Wise.  She was married in her parents' home Aug. 5, 1934, to Truman Plank, who survives.
  A member of the National Honor Society, Mrs. Plank graduated from Delphi High School in 1932.  She won a state oratory speech contest while in high school.  She was a bookkeeper at Sayco in Flora for 16 years.
  She was a member of Cutler Presbyterian Church, and Forty-Niners Extension Homemakers Club.  She was chaplain of Good Sam Club Chapter 13, and a former member of Cutler Music Club, a former 4-H leader, and secretary of Sun Valley Park, Apache Junction.
  Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Arlene Gangwer, Rossville, and Donnabelle Ferrill, Franklin; a sister, Louise Garrison, Valparaiso; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
  A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
  Services were held Tuesday at Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Nollette officiating.  Burial was in Camden Cemetery.
  Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
