Robert Cripe

  Robert L. Cripe, 63, of Flora, died Monday, Dec. 23, 1985, at 4 a.m. at his residence, following a seven-month illness.
  Born Aug. 3, 1922, in Hemlock, he was the son of Jacob and Lillie Edith Noakes Cripe.  His marriage was to May Kathryn Eikenberry on Oct. 4, 1948, and she survives.
  A World War II Army veteran, Cripe was a 20-year employee of the Town of Flora.  He was a member of the Flora First Christian Church and Clarence Wiles American Legion Post No. 222 of Flora.
  Cripe spent many hours restoring old Flora High School graduating class photographs for the Masonic Building.
  Surviving with his wife are his mother of Rossville; two sons Dennis A. Cripe of Rt. 2, Flora, and Stephen E. Cripe of Cutler; and 11 grandchildren.
  Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, with the Rev. Alvin Grumbling officiating.  Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery with military graveside service.  Friends may call 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association.
