Joan Larimore (Imler)

 Joan Arnold Imler, 80, formerly of Cutler, died at 6 a.m. Feb. 16, 2004, in St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi, where she had resided the past year.
  Born Dec. 16, 1923, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Cecil Shaffer Larimore.  She was married in Mishawaka in May 1943 to James H. Arnold, who died Sept. 12, 1972.  She married William "Jap" Imler in June 1978 in Cutler and he died March 21, 1988.
  Mrs. Imler was a 1941 graduate of Delphi High School.
  She was employed by the Cutler Telephone Company, first as an operator from 1955 to 1958, and then as bookkeeper from 1958 to 1972.  She later retired from Industrial Cab in Flora, where she was employed as a secretary.
  Mrs. Imler spent her winters in Florida from 1978 to 1987.
  Surviving are a son, James M. Arnold of Boston, Va.; a daughter, Sherry Cox of Lafayette; a sister Lois Enoch of Flora; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  A sister and a great-grandson preceded her in death.
  Services will be held at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Baker Funeral Home, Flora.  Burial will be in Ball Hill Cemetery, Cutler.
  Memorial may be made to Cutler Presbyterian Church.
